Missouri Trout Fishermen's Association Meetings and Activities

The Kansas City Chapter holds regular monthly membership meetings at Fleming Hall – Lake Jacomo – on the 4th Tuesday of each month, with the exception of June & July. These meetings are conducted from 7pm to 9:30pm and consist of a general business meeting, and a program speaker or other entertainment. All members are expected to actively participate in the Association activities and functions.

The annual dues for the Kansas City Chapter are as follows:

Single Membership $ 15.00

Family Membership (3 or more members) $ 30.00

All dues are payable January 1st of each year and become delinquent on March 1st.

Activities – The Kansas City Chapter is a very active Chapter participating in the following:

• Instruct Fly Tying Classes (both beginning and advanced)
• Instruct Rod Building Classes
• Sponsor an annual Lunker Dinner for chapter members and guests
• Participate in the Spring Convention and Spring Derby held at Bennett Spring State Park in May of each year.
• Co-sponsor of the "Kids Fishing Derby" held annually at Lake Jacomo
• Sponsor an Annual Fall Fishing Derby at Roaring River State Park
• Hold an Annual Christmas Party for Chapter members and their guests
• Participate in the Annual Kansas City Sportshow
