Upcoming Events - MTFA Annual Lunker Dinner and Raffle
Tuesday February 28, 2012 (6:30 pm - 9:00pm)

Put the date on your calendar and plan to attend the dinner. David will be conducting our annual Lunker Dinner raffle. If you have any items the club could use for our raffle please contact David Cook (816-272-5194).

The Bakers Dozen has been such a success that we have been asked by many members to continue this program. We would like as many club members as we can get to tie flies for the bakers dozen. That’s (13) of your favorite fly and the club will supply the fly box. We will put all the boxes in our raffle at our Lunker Dinner on February 23, 2010. Please tie just one pattern for the bakers dozen. We will take the 13th fly and put it in a box with the 13th fly from all the other boxes to create one or two boxes of a collection of assorted flies. We hope you will participate, there are some really great fly tiers in our club so it should be interesting to see what their favorite fly is and have a chance to win a box of flies. Please label your box with the name of the fly and the size.

The menu will be Ham and Turkey Breast. We need side dishes and desserts to go along with the meal. If your last name starts with an “A” through “M” bring a dessert and “N” through “Z” bring a side dish (ex: Potato salad, Bake Beans, or Cole Slaw).
